Acting Program, Jennifer Gregory

This conservatoire-style acting program gives students real-world hands-on audition experience, even for a complete beginner.
In this class, students learn how to read sight unseen, understand the story arc within a scene, learn how to slate their name at an audition, how to hit the mark, and even basic dance moves that they
might encounter in a musical theater audition.
Each student will be encouraged to learn lines, prepare scenes, and understand the breakdown of a
character when preparing for an audition.

Students will also work to understand inflection, modulation, pausing, and breath control. In fact, everything that makes a good voice sound great!
Students will have the opportunity to participate in the world-renowned Trinity College London Speech and Drama examinations, a program designed for students who wish to see evidence and achievements of progression. A set syllabus outlines specific achievements and key skills to be met at each level.

Class meets on Tuesdays 3-4pm or 4-5pm
Tuition is $45 per month or $12 per class.
